SETTING UP IP AND PORT FOR S40 (COMPLETE TUTORIAL)

NOTE: THIS TUTORIAL WILL SERVE ONLY AS GUIDE. THE PROXY, HOMEPAGE AND SERVER USED IN THIS TUTORIAL ARE NO LONGER WORKING

Follow this path:

STEP 1
SETTING UP YOUR CONNECTION
Settings>configurations>personal configuration settings>click add new>select web
STEP 2
EDITING YOUR CONNECTION
account name: FBT or any name you want to put
homepage:


SMART- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] or any working freesite


GLOBE- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] or any working freesite
Use prefered aces point: select NO
click aces point settings
proxy: enable
proxy server address:


SMART- wap9.info or any working web proxy


GLOBE- 125.5.112.167 or any working web proxy


proxy port: 80


click the bearer settings
Packet data aces point:
SMART- internet
GLOBE- http.globe.com.com.ph
you’re done, press back button 3x
makikita mo na yung ginawa mong connection settings. click option and activate it
STEP 3
SETTING UP YOUR BROWSER
sa main menu,select ang WEB.scrol down at hanapin ang settings>configuration settings>configuration>personal config>account ung FBT or yung ginawa mong connection name dapat ang makita mo dito. Then exit
STEP 4
DOWNLOADING OM AND PROV FILE
GLOBE- go to your web browser and enter the following link. Make sure to copy the link correctly:

SMART- long press 0<zero key> and you will be redirected sa homepage ng WAP9.INFO. Enter the following link. Make sure to copy the link correctly at the URL bar.

wait until matapos magdownload. Exit ka po. Don’t open your OM yet. Download po muna tayo ng prov file para gumana ang OM natin.



GLOBE- go to your web browser again and enter the following link:

SMART- long press zero again hanggang maredirect ka sa homepage ng phproxy. lagay mo ang link na to sa url bar:

Kapag naopen mo na ang link na to, fill up the following parameters:
name: OM PROV or kahit anong gusto nyo
ip: SMART- 80.239.243.2 or any working proxy for OM



GLOBE- 80.239.242.113 or any working proxy for OM
port: 80



APN: SMART- internet GLOBE- http.globe.com.ph
Leave the rest blank. Click generate
Click download prov file
wait till downloads finished.
STEP 5
SETTING UP YOUR PROV AND YOUR OM
hanapin mo yung prov file na dinownload mo, make sure na .prov ang extension ng prov mo (RENAME IT to .prov if the file extension is .php or .txt USING ANY FILE RENAMER LIKE JZIPMAN, BLUEFTP, POWERGRASP) bago mo ipasa sa CHINA FON, S60 or SE fon via bluetoot, then pasa mo pabalik sa cp mo yung prov via bluetoot pa rin. marereceive mo yung prov sa fon as config settings. Save and exit.




STEP 6
go to SETTINGS>CONFIGURATIONS>ACTIVATE IT AS DEFAULT AND CHOOSE THE PROPER PREFERED ACCESS POINT ACCORDING TO YOUR NETWORK. Puwede mo ring ipasa ang nadownload mong prov s S60 phones via bluetoot. Mapupunta yun sa inbox nila. Do not open kasi invalid file ang lalabas. Just highlight it then press option and send it back to your fon via bluetoot. Kung meron kayung magamit na SE fon, mas magandang idownload nyo na lang yung prov d2 using OM para .prov na ang extension at hindi ka na kailangang magrename pa. Then ipasa sa S40 fon nyo via bluetoot, marereceive nyo agad yun as config settings.
STEP 7
Pag nadownlod mo na yung OM at ok na ang prov mo , open mo na yung OM mo.

NOTE: When browsing, please make sure na 1-9php/oltxt/unlitxt (FOR SMART) and 0-5php (FOR GLOBE) lng ang load mo para siguradong di makaltasan ang load mo. kapag tama yung settings mo at may load ka naman pero ayaw gumana ng om mo, try to turn off your fon para marefresh ang settings mo. Sa mga bago pa lang mag-internet, make sure na activated na po ang sim nyo. Para po sigurado, text GPRS ON send to 211 and SET <CP UNIT> send to 211 (SMART). For GLOBE text GO <CP UNIT> send to 2951.
